October Events Schedule

Here is the planned schedule for the events in October. The events on the 25th and 29th will be named soon. If dates and/or times change, they will be posted here.

October 20th at 7PM PDT Governors Meeting
October 22nd at 7PM PDT Royal Guard Meeting
October 25th at 7PM PDT As Sickness Falls Event
October 29th at 7PM PDT A Cure In Need Event
October 31st at 7PM PDT Fishing Contest Deadline

Update: The title for the event posted on the 25th is now updated. The event is Titled, “As Sickness Falls”.

October Fishing Challenge

The fish chosen for this months challenge, is the Blue Marlin. Thanks go to Hydraken, our last months winner, for choosing this months Fish! As usual, submit your entries over at the mailbox at the EM Hall. The winners will be announced by the end of the month! The entry with the heaviest fish will be crowned the winner. Entries must be submitted no later than the 31st of the month and will have until the 5th of November to submit their choice for next months fish!

NOTE: I am going to allow Legendary Fish for this month. If a good response is received for allowing legendary, then I will continue to allow legendary fish here on out.  No dungeon fish will be accepted for future contests. The winner may submit their choice via email: Xanthus@uoem.net.

September Fishing Challenge Winner… Hydraken

Please join me in congratulating Hydraken as our Fishing Challenge Winner for the month of September! The prize fish was caught on the 6th of September and weighed 118 stones. Hydraken’s plaque will be displayed in the reward hall.

As the winner, Hydrakengets to choose the fish for October!  Please choose your reward fish by the 5th of October and either email me (Xanthus@uoem.net) or contact me in game.

September Events Schedule

Hello all! I apologize for not getting this schedule out to you earlier. I will update the schedule to show more info on the Event that is TBA by Sunday.

Update: The event on the 29th now has a title! What does Chef O’gok have in store for us?

New Update:  Chef O’Goks Special Brew Postponed for October 4th at 7pm PDT. I have been feeling under the weather for the past couple days and have decided to move the event to Wednesday. I apologize for the additional delay.

As usual, submit your entries over at the mailbox at the EM Hall. The winners will be announced by the end of the month! The entry with the heaviest fish will be crowned the winner. Entries must be submitted no later than the 30th of the month and will have until the 5th of October to submit their choice for next months fish!

NOTE: To give a bit of flexibility, please choose a fish that is of rare quality. No legendary or dungeon fish will be accepted for future contests. The winner may submit their choice via email: Xanthus@uoem.net.

August Fishing Challenge Winner… Karn and Sweaver Gal!

Please join me in congratulating both Karn and SWEAVER GAL as our Fishing Challenge Winners for the month of August! The prize fish was caught on the 15th and 19th of August and weighed 193 stones. Their plaque will be displayed in the reward hall.

As the winners,Karn and SWEAVER GAL get to choose the fish for September!  Please choose your reward fish by the 5th of September and either email me (Xanthus@uoem.net) or contact me in game. Being that we have 2 winners this month, please be in agreement on what fish to select for next month and both submit your choice. I will try and reach out to both of you before just in case!

I would also like to thank Hydraken and Lord Shadow Walker for their submissions! Hydraken’s fish weighed at 140 stones and was caught on the 17th of August, while Lord Shadow Walker’s weighed at 188 and caught on the 6th of August.

Royal Guard Meeting 8/31 7PM PDT

There will be a Royal Guard Meeting at 7PM PDT. Meeting Location will be announced prior to the meeting time.

UPDATE: Due to player request, I have moved the Royal Guard Event to be held on the 31st so that it could be held at an earlier time. The new time will be 7PM PDT.

The Royal Guard

We will be starting back up the Royal Guard once again! Meetings will take place once a month. These meetings will be held strictly in Role play and will include Promotions, and current in game events.

Attendance:

  • If you are on the Royal Guard and attending an event, you must trade a book with the name of the Royal Guard character to get credit for attendance.
  • You will be permitted to use an alt during events.
  • Player must be there from begging to end to gain full Credit.

Ranks and Promotions:

Elder Knight – Event Points: 256 Events
ArchKnight – Event Points: 128 Events
Knight – Event Points: 64
Squire – Event Points: 32
Garrison – Event Points: 16
Watchman – Event Points:8
Scout – Event Points: 4
Recruit – Event Points: 2

Things to know(Subject to change):

  • Extra Event Points may be earned during events
    • Wearing Royal Guard approved uniform during events on your royal  guard character
    • performing above and beyond tasks
  • You will never be allowed to earn enough points to skip ranks.
  • points reset once you obtain a new rank.
  • Each Rank will have a difference in uniform.
  • Promotions will be held during Royal Guard meetings.
